I was recently interviewed by Daniel Rinaldi, the host of ONE PLANET MUSIC. He has a wonderful blog that explores " the role of music in society through the eyes of people in the music world who are also striving to perfect their craft while having meaningful impact."
This is the introduction to his blog episode.....
" We welcome 2021 with this new episode where we explore the concept of unity in music. Vedad Theophilus is a Persian singer living in Spain, so she creates a fusion of flamenco with traditional Persian styles. She sings both in Spanish and in Farsi (Persian). The blend is just outstanding and you just have to listen to the episode to hear how well she blends the two styles. She also shares with us about her spirituality and how important chanting prayers is for her. While editing the episode I couldn’t restrain my tears from hearing her singing."
